The Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ola Olukoyede, has felicitated with Muslims across the country on the glorious occasion of the Sallah celebration, stating that the festival “presents us with another opportunity to share the light, love, and blessings of Almighty Allah with the entire world.”

He made the call in Abuja on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, in his Sallah message to Nigerians.

The EFCC boss stressed that while celebrating and sharing the blessings accompanying the festival, there is a need to refresh and strengthen our commitment to the ideals of transparency and anti-corruption as important virtues that can move the nation forward.

He pointed out that every religion promotes honesty and accountability, adding that the Sallah festival should awaken such ideals in every Nigerian.

“As we celebrate, let us attune our hearts to the ideals of transparency and anti-corruption in a renewed way. Greed is not a creed of any religion. Honesty draws us closer to Allah, and we must exemplify it always,” he said.
