    Leaders of opposition political parties are holding a joint press conference in Abuja.

    The briefing, themed “Urgent Call to Save Nigeria’s Democracy,” is taking place at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel.

    Already present at the venue are leaders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), including former Senate President David Mark; former Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola; former Vice President Atiku Abubakar; former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi; and former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi, among others.

    The National Chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Ahmed Ajuji, is also present.

    Prominent members of the NNPP, notably Buba Galadima, are equally in attendance.
